HeW has been willing to work with us in ALL aspects of the Patient Financial Services arena. Over the years, HeW has taken the lead on keeping us HIPAA compliant, delivering electronic remittance advices to us, and developing claims scrubbers that ensure clean claims when they are sent out. Striving Beyond the Competition!

Medical Accounting and Billing, Inc. is a full service medical billing company servicing a wide variety of specialties throughout Montana. MABCO is currently using Medical Manager for its billing software. We have used Health-e-Web (HeW) as our clearing house for the past three years. The staff at HEW has been very helpful and supportive with our claims. They have been able to accept downloads from Medical Manager and successfully pass those claims to the payor. That was not the case with our former clearinghouse, Emdeon. We did not get a single claim to go through Emdeon in a year of trying to work with them. The claims had to be dropped to paper by us in order to be paid, which was ironic because our software vendor informed us that only Emdeon would be honored by their support staff. HeW proved them wrong and were able in a very short time to send our claims electronically to payors that would accept electronic claims and they printed paper claims to those payors that did not have the capacity to accept electronically transmitted claims. We have always received excellent service from the staff at HeW. If an issue presents itself, the problem is solved within a short time.

As a bonus, my trainer spent a little extra time dealing with my billing software problems. She gave me the tools to fix those little pain in the neck things that I had always felt stuck with. I hung up the phone feeling excited about the upgrade and grateful for HEW Staff. Thanks for providing me with this enhanced service and your quality staff.

If you are anything like me, you cringe when you get the call that something related to your computer needs upgrading or converting. It was with great trepidation that I scheduled my telephone training for the 2006 agreement upgrade.
